Nylon zip repair pack
This pack contains sliders that fit nylon zips.
Pack contents: 3C, 3CB, 4C, 8C, 5C.
Nylon zips are pretty common, and are frequently found on backpacks, laptop bags, equipment bags, jackets and so on.
You can use these sliders on various zips, and you can reuse them multiple times since our sliders are all clip-on and clip-off. This pack includes sliders of very small size (3C, 3CB), medium size (5C, 4C), and one for larger zippers (8C). The only size missing from the pack is size 10 (10C), but this slider is less common than the ones in the pack because of the size of the zips it repairs (10.20-10.50mm)
Repairing the zip on an Eastpak backpack:
The zip on a rucksack is often large and when it breaks it can take a long time to change it completely.
In just a few seconds, Clip Zip will give you back all the usefulness of your rucksack without having to sew or unstitch anything.
- The first step is to remove the original slider, the one that no longer allows your zip to close. Use pliers for this step.
- Then open your Clip Zip slider using the wedge supplied with your purchase.
- Place the Clip Zip on your zip, making sure that both rows of teeth are well engaged in the slider. Clip on. It's fixed!
For more information, please see our article on installing a Clip Zip slider.
Clip Zip sliders are machine washable, so there's no need to unclip them when washing your clothes. They are also weatherproof, so can be installed on items that are outdoors all year round.
Pay attention to the condition of the zip teeth. If the teeth are damaged, for example if 5 are missing from the same row, it will be impossible for the Clip Zip slider to repair. If, on the other hand, one or two teeth are missing in different places, the slider will still work. If the teeth are broken or if your zip is too old, you'll either have to change it completely or try to sew it back on. One of the main rules for repairing a zip with a Clip Zip slider is that the teeth of the zip must be in good condition.
How do I know if my zip is made of nylon?
Nylon zips have fine, narrow teeth and are found in many bags, such as Eastpaks, laptop bags, school bags, travel bags, etc.
Nylon zips can also be found in some garments, such as suit and skirt zips, dresses and many others.

Le top. Rapport qualité prix par rapport au changement complet de la fermeture. Ce clip a sauvé mon blouson que je n'aurais pas fait réparer autrement.
