A repair kit for all zips

This box contains the most commonly used sliders that fit all types of zip: metal, plastic, nylon spiral and invisible/waterproof.

You'll also find a copy of each size of our cases/sleeves and a maintenance gel for your zips. A complete kit for repairing and maintaining several zips of different sizes and materials.

Each part number is numbered in the box for easy identification when you open it, so you know which items you can install each slider on.

Sliders included

• 3A : The ideal slider for repairing fly fasteners on jeans, skirts or trousers. Suitable for very small metal zips (baby coats etc.)

• 3CB : Repairs spiral/nylon zips such as the inside pockets of bags, wallets and cushion covers.
  
• 5A : Very common, it is suitable for metal zippers on handbags, coats, jackets, and others.
  
• 5B : the best-selling and most widely used slider. Suitable for plastic AND metal zips, they can be found on backpacks, anoraks, coats, handbags and many other items.
• 5C : Also very common. Repairs spiral/nylon zips. Suitable for computer bags, school bags, waistcoats, covers, etc.
  
• 8B : Repairs larger plastic zips. Can repair sports bags, hunting waistcoats and sports equipment covers, for example.
  
• 8C : Fits larger spiral/nylon zips slightly bigger than size 5 (the most common). You can find these on camping tents, travel suitcases, caravan awnings, and nautical equipment, etc.
  
• 10A : This is the largest size of slider we offer. It is suitable for metal and plastic zips. It can also repair larger zips, such as those on workwear, overalls and other items.

Cases/sleeves included

This expert box contains one of each size of our cases/sleeves, compatible with all zips.

• Size 3-4 : The smallest size. Fits zips with a size 3 or 4 slider (size 4 slider very rare).
• Size 5  : Very common as it is a standard size that is widely used on our clothing and everyday items.
• Size 8 : will fit zips with a size 8 slider, which are generally slightly large zips.
• Size 10 : the largest size we offer, for very large zips which will have a slider similar to the 10A.
  
  

Little extras

Also included in our expert box are a maintenance gel for the zips and an opening wedge for the sliders. The maintenance gel will make your zips and sliders last longer and in better condition. There will be no visual change before or after application, but its effectiveness will become apparent as the years go by.

The opening wedge works on all the sliders in the same way, acting as a lever to allow you to open each slider easily and without damaging them.
