Finding the right Clip&Zip slider

STEP N°1: DETERMINE MY MESH TYPE (and not the material of the slider !)

METAL TEETH

They are often straight, with a small hook, very easy to recognize!

We will categorize METAL tooth closures in reference A.

3A, 5A, 8A, will only fit METAL tooth closures and 10A will only fit METAL and PLASTIC closures.

PLASTIC TEETH

We recognize them visually by the material but also by their shape with a square base and rounded tip!

We will categorize closures with PLASTIC teeth in reference B.

3B, 5B, 8B, will only fit PLASTIC closures and 10A for METAL and PLASTIC.

SPIRAL NYLON TEETH

As in the image, the closures with the spiral nylon teeth are very tight together.

We will categorize the closures with the SPIRAL NYLON teeth in reference C.

3C, 3CB, 4C, 45C, 5C, 8C and 10C will only fit SPIRAL NYLON teeth closures.

STEP #2: DETERMINE THE SIZE OF MY CURSOR

There are several ways to find the correct slider.

a) Measure the width of the teeth when closed/engaged WITHOUT THE TISSUE ( then refer to the product sheet for the slider you need).

b) Look behind the slider if there is a number that can indicate the size. If there is a 7, this corresponds to size 5 at Clip&Zip slider, this indicates the standard size of the slider.

c) If the teeth are impossible to close to measure the width, measure the width from the INSIDE of the original slider, without the metal edges, only the interior.
