Backpacks, tents, jackets, wetsuits... again all have zips. When the zips on these materials are damaged, repairs can be costly, or you throw them away and buy new ones, or you patch them up, but the result is rarely satisfactory.
Zips that break - it happens to everyone, all the time
- You've decided to go camping on a summer's evening, you're getting ready to close your tent to keep out a multitude of insects, and when you close it you realise that it opens up and is therefore unusable.
- You're getting ready for a weekend on the slopes when you notice that the slider on your wetsuit is stuck and won't go up or down.
- You're putting on your windproof jacket for a walk in the mountains or at sea, but you realise that the invisible zip no longer closes.

The Clip Zip solution: the revolutionary slider!
Once again, the Clip Zip slider adapts to all types of fasteners, large or small, invisible or not, metal, plastic or nylon, there's something for everyone!
Extremely resistant, the Clip Zip slider can stay out all night or in the rain without getting damaged, it won't rust, and bad weather won't have any impact on its very solid system. It's even designed to be in contact with seawater!
It's also a reusable slider, as it has a clip and unclip mechanism. It can be installed in 30 seconds without any sewing, as the zip remains intact, and can therefore be removed at any time. All you have to do is press down on the tab with your fingers while holding the 'body' to open the slider, as shown in our user guide:

Not sure which slider to choose?
We're here to help!
If you're not sure which slider can repair your zip, there are several solutions:
- Look behind the original slider, perhaps there is a number engraved, for example 5. In this case, you'll also need to get a size 5 slider from us. All that's left to do is decide on the material of the teeth of your zip (metal, plastic, nylon, invisible).
- Download and print our reference card, to help you visualize the different sizes and types of zip
- if you are still unsure about which part number to use, send us photos of your zip by e-mail: serviceclient@clip-zip.fr
All our sliders are made of cast zinc, manufactured in Europe and delivered with care. We will always take the time to help you find the product you need for your repair, so don't hesitate to contact us!
